While Arnie and I were at the Derby the girls stayed in Omaha. On our way home yesterday Maggie said, "Mom, Grandpa let me have 2 pops at dinner, then we had ice cream. You weren't there, so we could do whatever we wanted." :) Needless to say, they had a good time!
They went to see the Lego exhibit at Lauritzen Gardens.
....and as mentioned, they had ice cream :)
Maggie and Grandpa made a door using wood pegs. We've been reading the Little House on the Prairie books and they just built a new cabin, I'm sure she had lots of questions. So Grandpa decided to just show her....she's a lucky girl! When they got done she suggested they build a doll house for the door to go on, poor grandpa!
At some point on Saturday Mom sent me the following Maggie quote..."Gracie, preschool is a place big girls go when they need to get away from their mom for a few minutes."
Yesterday we had our end of the school year party at church. I thought Grace might be a little scared, oh wait, this is Grace we are talking about....
