The big girls had a substitute teacher today...they got to go to Greeley, CO and visit our plant there. Mom’s going to seem pretty boring tomorrow, maybe I’ll make them wear hard hats at the table just for fun!

Haddie and I flew home today for a couple of days. (I have a quick meeting that just couldn’t be missed). I realized while I’ve traveled a ton with her, I don’t think it’s ever been just her and I. She was awesome and tonight enjoyed playing with the chickens and taking a real bath. We miss Daddy and Sisters but we’ll get back to wandering in a few days.

Here is what Roadschool looks like today. We’re settling into a routine. It’s a flexible routine, that sometimes includes school on Sunday so we can play all day Monday, but at least it’s a routine!

YOU GUYS!!! This is a REAL, living, breathing cow. It has a fistula in its last stomach so you can see (or feel) it’s food digesting! The cow is happy and seems totally normal otherwise. My girls thought it was awesome. It was one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen.

Skiing 2019

Beaver Creek didn't disappoint. We had great weather and a ton of fun. The girls went to ski school the first day (while I tried to keep up with Arnie), then we all skied together the last 2 days. The girls continue to love skiing and are definitely improving. All the way back to the airport Gracie kept saying, "I'm going to miss the mountains." Her love for the mountains might get in the way of her plan to build a house with a tunnel next to our house when she grows up.
