This year we took the Motorhome to the fair and set up camp. Maggie can't show Jude at the fair until next year, but she got to help her barn friends take care of their horses and get them ready to show (did you know at the fair you have to have your chores done by 7am????). She loved it.
Gracie's one of a kind style was on display all week :)
Blue Ribbon and 1st place for her doll outfit.
Blue ribbon and 1st place for her doll quilt too!
Gracie had a corndog a day...she would have had 2, but her mean mom stopped her!
Making rope!
Maggie learning to throw a rope.
She even got the roping dummy once! Aunt Joyce & Uncle Lee came to spend the day at the fair with us and got to witness Maggie's roping skills!
The four legged children went to the fair too.
When Gracie found out there was a cat show she HAD to see it. We walked through the pouring rain to get there, and she was completely disappointed when she found out the cats didn't do any tricks.
Haddie spent the first few days of the fair in Omaha with Grandma and Grandpa, she came back just in time for one last rodeo. It was chilly so we had to break out some shoes!
Thank goodness there was a playground next to the dog show!
It wouldn't be the fair without rides....
....and junk food!
The fair is exhausting!
