I can't believe 2nd Grade is finished! Maggie had such a great 1st/2nd Grade teacher, we are really going to miss Mrs. Vanness. The last day of school was a half day, so Maggie got to pick lunch. Surprise, surprise she picked Arby's. Then we went home and set up for her Birthday Party.
Maggie wanted to have a last day of school/Birthday party with the girls from her class. She asked them all to bring donations for the animal shelter instead of presents. They had pizza and a "drive-in" movie! I think they all had a good time. Maggie loved it and she was nice enough to let her sister hang out and be a part of the party!

| It got pretty chilly, but the fire and lots of blankets seemed to keep the girls warm. |

On Friday morning we took all the donations to the Animal Shelter. The girls got to meet all the
cats (and kittens) and dogs. Maggie can't wait to go back and volunteer. |

The director of the Animal Shelter gave Maggie a tshirt while we were there. She had changed into
it before we were even out of the parking lot. |
