The seas are REALLY rough today, but other then a little motion sickness everyone is back to having a great time.
Today we are at sea all day and tomorrow is our beach day. Hopefully we will get sunshine and calm waters.
I have lots of pictures to share when we get home, the internet here might be a little slow to load them all.
Last night was pirate night.....so ARGHHHH' from my little pirates :)

A break from the fun....
The last 24 hours haven’t gone exactly like we’d of hoped.
Yesterday afternoon Maggie got VERY sick. We hoped it was just a quick bug, but
it held on. At about midnight we were getting a little nervous so we called the
ship doctor. He met us in the clinic and gave her some medicine that fairly
quickly made her feel better. Unfortunately an hour later I was back for the
same medicine. We both seem to have caught the Cruise Ship Ick….actually some
kind of noro virus. We didn’t know it before going to the clinic but apparently
there are more than the average number of cases on our boat.
On Sunday night Maggie had her Princess makeover. At the time I thought she seemed very tired, now I know she was getting sick.
Unfortunately when you present with Noro Virus symptoms on a
ship you are immediately quarantined for 24 hours. At least our quarantine
started at midnight, so by tomorrow morning we should be all clear. Maggie is
being a real trooper. Today she was really excited about making gingerbread
houses with the chef and a special Princess Tea she was going to attend this
afternoon, but she’s taking the disappointment like a tough girl. Thankfully I
brought a few games and there are endless hours of Disney movies on the tv.
Before we got sick we were having a great time and hopefully
today we can just take it easy and tomorrow we will be back to our great
vacation. Pray that Arnie and Gracie don’t get sick and that Gracie doesn’t
totally wear Arnie out today while he’s trying to keep her entertained!

We gave Gracie a quick Minnie Makeover before dinner too :)
Hello Minnie Mouse!
It's a Dad life :)
Waiting for dinner time...
Monkey See, Monkey Do!
A little pre dinner dance party!
Guess what? Gracie ate Macky! (for pretty much every meal since we arrived)
and "brown" ice cream. She might be the only kid in the dinning room who picked off all the Mickey sprinkles before she ate it.
More ice cream!
Right before Maggie got sick she and Arnie took a couple rides on the Aqua Duck! (Princess hair and all)

Disney Cruise, day 1!
Our vacation is off to an AWESOME start! We arrived, got
checked in and started enjoying all that the boat has to offer. So far the kids
club and the ice cream have been the girl’s favorites.
Last night after dinner Maggie wanted to go the kids club
for a little while, on our way back to the room with Grace, we happened on
Mickey Mouse. Gracie wanted to meet him. When it was her turn she was a little
apprehensive, but the first thing she told Maggie when she woke up this morning
was, “I got Mickey name in my book!” J
Maggie has always been a little scared
of characters, maybe her sister will be the ticket to overcoming that fear.
Today we are at sea. Tomorrow the boat docks in Grand
Cayman.
Cheers!!
Everything is Mickey shaped :) even Mac N' Cheese and Peas!
MICKEY!!!!
Which one is the real Sofia?? Maggie was SO excited to meet Sofia this morning. We weren't sure when she was a "big head" character (not a real face), what she would do, but she LOVED it.
more ice cream!

jail?
Yesterday when Gracie and I were checking out at Target, the cashier handed her a sticker and Gracie responded with, "I'm going to read a book in my cage later." If I end up in jail, you all know why. If only she had a cage, I'd be less crazy for sure!
In other news, John must have too much free time at work :)
but I do love this!

Milwaukee!
We spent the weekend in Milwaukee for Ilana's Wedding. The girls loved all the attention and family to play with and Soni & Jess were wonderful hosts.
Did you know that in Milwaukee they don't have water fountains...they have bubblers...Gracie started calling them bubblies :)
Yesterday morning after breakfast we took a quick walk along the river. It was pretty chilly, so we didn't stay outside too long.
The girls were great sports! It was a late night and they danced like party animals....especially Maggie. Her little legs have to be sore today. They both had such a good time!

The girls were pretending to be puppies and eating raisins out of bowls without their hands.... ...sometimes family is a bad influence :) I hope they go back to utensils now that we're home.
Aren't they beautiful! Maggie was bound and determined that they were going to wear matching dresses...it took us a little while to find them, but it was worth the search!

If Gracie comes for dinner, you might want to count the silverware. We kept finding forks in the pocket of her bib.
Poor Cooper wanted to dance by himself and Gracie was determined to hold his hand!
Aunt Cindi is a great playmate...she and Maggie danced and danced!
After a night like that everyone needs a little milk in bed :) When I handed Gracie her cup she said, "you let me drink in bed? you're silly mommy."
And off we go....
This picture cracks me up, looks like she belongs on the cover of a tabloid magazine :) I'm grateful to have 2 awesome travelers!
