We'll give this a go...

I really don't think of myself as much of a blogger, but for 2011 I'm going to make a real effort.  I don't actually care if anyone reads it, but as Maggie gets a little older I find myself forgetting some of the crazy things she's done and I'm hoping to use this blog as a place to record those memories for my kids (and myself).  I guess I'll call it my New Years Resolution...can't make any promises, time seems to get away from me around here, but I can hope! 


For my first post I'm going to include 2 videos (I'll warn you the second one is REALLY loud)....I don't take enough videos of Maggie, I have enough pictures to fill 100 albums (I just archived the December pictures and I took nearly 600, I can only imagine what my total number was for 2010), but I almost never think to get out the video camera....but yesterday I used it twice.  I've been trying to capture her singing Christmas songs for a couple of weeks now, and she doesn't usually want to participate, so yesterday she was singing to me in the car and I filmed it without her knowing (probably not the safest way to drive) but at least I got a few songs on tape.  Yesterday afternoon Maggie went to a dance Birthday Party for one of her little girlfriends, so the second video is her trying to keep up with the bigger girls routine. 


Last night Maggie and her daddy stayed up late and had a pajama party for the Husker game, they got out sleeping bags and it sounded like they were having a great time, too bad the Huskers did play so well.
