Sunshine!!

We made a quick trip to Arizona to visit Grandma and Pops and celebrate Gracie and Haddie’s Birthdays (or “2-Day” as Haddie calls it). The weather was amazing! Sunny and high 80’s. Spring has decided not to come to Norfolk this year so we enjoyed soaking up the sun while it was snowing at home! The girls loved all the time outside and especially getting to spend the weekend with Grandma and Pops.

It took about 5 minutes for the girls to get in the pool.







We went for a long hike on Thursday. These 2 crazy’s took off for the top while the rest of us turned back a little sooner.

Maggie played some golf with Daddy and Pops, she’s pretty pumped to be grown up enough!







We spent a couple hours at a climbing gym, it was awesome (I couldn’t put my arms above my head for 2 days). I’m thinking we could build a pretty great wall in the shed.









We took Wrigley along. She enjoyed the sunshine and swimming pool too :)

Easter!

I did an awful job taking pictures on Easter. It was a cold windy day so we didn’t spend much time outside. We had a great time at Aunt Trisha and Uncle Jeff’s and the kids came home exhausted!

Chicks!!!!

Gracie had a great Birthday weekend! She’s been asking for chickens for months, and Friday morning she got to pick them up at the post office. She spent her Birthday checking on the chicks, riding Harley and coloring eggs with her friends! It doesn’t get much better then that. 

Saturday we headed for Omaha (chickens in tow) to celebrate Gracie and Easter. Grandma made an awesome chicken cake :)





Gracie and Grandpa are going to build the chickens a coup, today they worked on the waterer. It’s pretty cool and Gracie loved helping build it.

Seven is going to be a great year!!
