We made a quick trip to Castle Rock last weekend to see Grandma and Pops new house and to enjoy some fresh air. The girls loved having Cooper and Ella to play with.

It's hard to be Haddie :)

Maggie didn't feel great one day. She NEVER willingly lays down, we knew it must be bad!Little kids.....Big kids!On Sunday we rode the Cog Train to the top of Pikes Peak. The view was amazing and it was chilly!

Too much excitement and fresh air for Gracie!

Gracie LOVES to climb. She was born to be a mountain girl! We took a couple of hikes while we were there, big girls loved them.

There are some things I never thought I'd have to do with a baby on my back :)this one required a little help down. Thank goodness Dad and Aunt Zoe are so tall :)

It was a great weekend away. Now we're back home trying not to float away in all the rain. The girls start school Thursday so we are using up the last couple days of summer!

I couldn't have asked for a better trip or for better friends! This is a pretty amazing life we get to live!

Cabo 5, Happy 40th Birthday!!!

Four of my favorite people turn 40 this year, so one day the kids and I threw a surprise Birthday Party! We woke everyone up early, told them to get dressed for the beach and meet us in the drive way......It was so fun!

 

 

 

We rented a Yacht for the day and celebrate 4 decades in style!

Arnie caught a fish....well he reeled in a fish, we didn't really have much to do with catching it!

 

it was a 48" Wahoo. They poured tequila in it's mouth then fileted it right there on the back of the boat.
