Back to the beach :)

We've been in Cabo for the last week. It was perfect....I'm not really sure why we came home. When we arrived last Friday, Maggie and Arnie went to pick up pizza for supper, when they got back Arnie said it was like taking Norm into Cheers....Maggie was the hit of the restaurant, she had lots of hugs to hand out and hellos to say.

Maggie and Shakira had there usual morning dates, Arnie played some golf, Gracie played in the sand and I soaked in the sun.

Gracie is starting to remember "the beach" from one trip to another. She was more comfortable there then ever. She's usually very shy and getting her to talk to people (or answer people) is a daily struggle, she prefers to bury her head in my leg. BUT she really did great while we were there. She played with kids, didn't freak when I walked 5 steps away from her, talked to people, and she ATE!!! Our last trip I'm not sure she ate more then 3 bites a day and never anything but Mac n' cheese. This time she ate at least one banana every day, she decided mid-week she liked guacamole, she ate a few quesadillas (just cheese of course) and tried a few other things. It may not sound like much but it's a big step for her! I hope she keeps it up when we get home.

Oh come on, I know you have another carrot!

Bellied up to a Mexican bar at 3...what will her 21st Birthday look like?

On Friday's the other girls who ride don't have school, so Maggie got to be a part of their regular class. She
loved it and did great. They do some formations and made sure to include Maggie, she was very excited about it.

Besides bananas Gracie had a little "brown" ice cream.

Gracie loves the sand and swimming in the pool, but she is not fond of the ocean....

....see!

Once of the highlights of the trip for Maggie was that she got to give Shakira a bath.

Notice how wet the guy helping hers shirt is? I think he was regretting handing her the hose.

Oh no, I have to eat again???

More brown ice cream :) not sure how it got to her eyebrows.

This was  Gracie's victory dance every time she got a bean bag in the hole. Maggie
wasn't amused.

??????

Gracie talked a big game, she told us she was going to sit on Shakira and let
me walk her around the arena....no such luck. She only wanted to sit on the saddle,
not the horse!

There were a couple of colts, Gracie wanted to check on each of them every morning.

Good-bye Cabo! We'll be back soon and we'll miss you until then.
