There are hazards to being the baby sister....
The girls had a good time playing. They're really getting good at entertaining each other and playing together. Maggie is a really sweet big sister.
Gracie didn't really know what to think of the rain, she's probably never seen that much of it. We did a little dancing in it. After we went out once she asked over and over.
Saturday afternoon I had to prove to Arnie and Dick that I was an ace shooter. When we told Maggie we were going to go shoot, she asked, "at what? Animals?" I told her we'd use bulls-eyes to shoot at.....it seemed like a simple answer....surprise, surprise, she had about a hundred more questions. First and most important, "how do they get the eyes out of the bulls?"
Sunday, Maggie asked if we could go to the "PAG Store....you know the one with golf stuff." Well, you don't have to ask Dick and Arnie twice....off we headed for the PGA store.
That's right, testing clubs at 4 and a half! Apparently her first set of clubs is too short. At this rate she'll have more sets of clubs then I've had by the age of 6, she must be trying to rival daddy and Pops :) She better get her tour card at 18 after all this!
After our trip to the store Maggie was really anxious to go do some golfing, she checked every few minutes to see if the rain stopped.
Late in the afternoon, it finally stopped for a few minutes. Maggie, Pops and Daddy made a trip to the practice green. They got a little playing in before the rain started again. While Maggie was putting, she got to meet "Mr. Bubba" (Bubba Watson, Pro golfer, for our non-golf family). Unfortunately she wouldn't let her daddy take her picture with him. Hopefully he'll win the Phoenix Open this week and she'll get to see him on TV.
Monday morning it was STILL raining, but stopped just long enough for a bike ride before we headed for the airport.
Maggie was really excited that we let her ride in Pops "fast car" on the way to the airport.
The weather was cruddy, but we still had a great trip. Grandma and Pops are always great hosts and we love spending time with them.
