The REAL Sleeping Beauty...

Maggie knew she didn't want to get close to the characters, but she wasn't sure about princesses. So our last afternoon at Magic Kingdom, we decided to take her to try it....She didn't want to meet Cinderella, but she did talk to Sleeping Beauty.
When Maggie walked up, she said "please, don't touch me". Sleeping Beauty assured her that she wouldn't touch her. They chatted, took some pictures and then Sleeping Beauty asked Maggie if she could have a hug.....
Arnie and I were both shocked, but so glad that she did it. She was really proud of herself and skipped right out of the room to tell Grandma and Grandpa.
Fort Wilderness was awesome, we will definitly be back.

oh, buttons!!!

Isn't this cute....brothers sharing a GIANT turkey leg!

I wish I'd taken a picture of our camp site when it wasn't wet and rainy.

We left our stroller outside and over night a bird built a nest and laid an
egg in the cup holder.
 Time to go home....
Arnie and Maggie had the quiet side of the airplane.

Gracie on the other hand was having a dance party....BUT she stayed quiet and didn't
bother anyone around her.
Today we're all relaxing and recovering. Grace slept from 7:30 last night until 10 this morning. She and Maggie are both napping now. It'll probably take a few days for things to get back to normal.

We had such a great trip. Maggie asked this morning if we could go back in a few weeks. It'll be more then a few weeks, but we'll definitly go back!

Circle D Farm....

There were stables at our campground where they keep all the horses for the Disney parades. Maggie got to see the little white ponies that pull Cinderella's carriage and the HUGE horses that pull the trolly down main street. She even got to ride a pony, his name was Nemo....

I love this picture!

Even Princesses get wet!

Someday this may come back to haunt him....

Maggie took off for Grandma and Grandpa's camper in her princess pj's,
her backpack and her Minnie purse...it would have taken "too long" to
get dressed!

Don't worry, Gracie is a princess too!

The happiest place on earth....

We had a great time, but I think my husband would be happy to debate the truth of the "happiest place on earth" sales pitch :)  Maggie, on the other hand, might be able to win that argument.

Maggie loved the tea cups and the carousel, I'm pretty sure we could have
skipped everything else and she'd of been happy to do those 2 all day long.

I love this picture!

Animal Kingdom. It was cool, but I'm not sure it's as amazing as the
Omaha Zoo, I might skip it next trip.

The safari is the coolest thing there, it's pretty amazing.
At animal kingdom we talked Maggie into going on the dinosaur ride with us. I remembered it as a Jurassic park type ride with a little drop at the end....I was wrong! It was a scary, toss you all over, giant mean dinosaurs jump out at you, ride. She made it all the way through and when Arnie picked her up out of the car at the end, she started sobbing. I felt bad, it was really scary. Needless to say, we only did that ride once. Laura says the ride I remember is at Universal....oooppps!

We rented a double stroller for our trip....good thing. I hope they washed it when
we gave it back, it had a few popsicle stains, probably a little ice cream, some milk and
who knows what else in it that the next people might not appreciate!

At Hollywood studios there was a dance party for little kids. There weren't very many people and Mickey, Minnie, and lots of other characters were coming and going. They danced with the kids, took pictures, played...it was great....except Maggie wanted nothing to do with it. I hope when she's a little bigger and wants to see the characters we can find access like that.
Grandma kept trying to get her 1 step closer to Minnie.

Grace was happy to watch, even though it was almost mid-night.

scrub a dub dub....gracie in the tub!

WATER....

We did lots of swimming while we were on vacation. Maggie has always loved water and Gracie was pretty excited about it too. Maggie proved that she has NO fear when it comes to water slides, Arnie took her to a little one first thinking she'd do better with that, by the end of the day she was following he and Vadim down the big slides (laughing all the way). We had a great pool (with a small water slide) at our campground and we also made 2 trips to Disney water parks.

Grace likes swimming but she LOVES going anyplace in a golf cart.

Weeeeeeeee.......

"Chase me...come on, chase me!"

We found a way to keep track of Maggie....

Let's go swimming!

We had to wait out a little rain at the water parks too....
